An MC ‘G’ controller is a solid-state electronic speed controller allowing a DC source to supply power to the motor smoothly and avoid loss of power from other controls. The controller has features such as thermal cutback, polarity protection, and plug braking assist, among others. A logic card assists and allows all these functions.
The Sevcon 66217584 is a customer-special OPTIONS model with ARB. It has embedded control functions and light current and can be controlled digitally and manually. It also has circuitry for anti-rollback, fail-safe, oscillation, accelerator shaping, current limit, bypass, field diversion, clamp, and sequence.
