The Curtis 1238-6501 is a 48-volt programmable controller built to provide smooth control of motor speed and torque. Curtis controllers are designed to deliver excellent performance to provide solutions to your motor vehicle needs. The maximum current limit of 550 amperes allows the cart to reach higher torque and smoother flight on steep hills. This controller is compatible with electric or forklift golf carts.
The key features improved the functionality of Curtis 1238-6501. It can be programmed for traction or pump application using the Curtis handheld or PC Windows programming tools. It includes a status LED to give diagnosis instantly. The dual microprocessor architecture ensures that the highest safety level is achieved. The insulated metal substrate power base increases the controller’s reliability because it has protection from reverse polarity, short circuit, and thermal cutback. The rugged IP53 housing and packaging is designed to protect from harsh conditions.
