There are two generations of models for the Curtis 1243. Both models are motor speed controllers for separately excited (SepEx) motors providing smooth regenerative control.
Both versions are equipped with the MultiMode feature. The second generation is an improved version since it offers more features compared to the original model.
Curtis 1243-4220 is a 2nd generation 1243 model. The Curtis 1243-4220 is a 24/36-volt model with 200 amperes and utilizes a 5K-0 ohms throttle input. The controller provides a better driving experience due to embedded and optional features, which can be added according to preference and application demand.
