1244 Curtis ControllersThe MultiMode motor speed controller from Curtis Controller Model 1244 is used for separately excited (SepEx) motors. This controller is cost-efficient, only requires simple installation, and operates silently when controlling the speed, brake, and torque of the motor. The control stage of four-quadrant, full bridge power stage of two quadrant, half-bridge armature allows regenerative braking and solid state motor reversing power without requiring relays and contactors. This controller can also be used with CAN Bus communication systems. The controller can be applied to vehicles used for material handling with order pickers and counterbalance trucks.
The Curtis 1244 operates at a high frequency of 16 kHz, has nominal voltage options of 24-36 volts, 36-48 volts, and 36-80 volts and a current limit range of 400-700 amperes. It weighs 3.9 kg and is 229 mm in length, 178 mm in width, and 81 mm in depth.
